Ticking...

Just like the clock in the crocodile from Peter Pan I can hear ticking as the deadline for my essay approaches. Once this is out of the way it's a quick breather and then down to studying for an exam towards the end of April. Deadlines are like buses it seems, there is always another coming along!

Another event is approaching also. This is my 99th post so I will try and post something special for my next one. Not sure what yet! Still, it won't be until after the essay deadline at the end of this week. I am hoping for good weather this weekend so that I can get out and about with my camera. It would be so nice to get out in the fresh air and just go somewhere. Kinda like a reward for my hard work.

Until this weekend then I am lying low. I may stop by and say hello to break the work up, but you know where I'll be...sat in front of my computer, listening to the ticking getting louder!
Update: Bob is asleep on the windowsill next to my desk and snoring, so I guess I'll be listening to that too!
Further Update: It's now Friday and deadline day. I still have quite a bit to do but am confident that I will deliver the goods. I will be so glad once this one is finished it has been a tough one for a number of reasons. Wish me luck and have a great Friday!

Good luck on the essay - but I'm thinking you won't need any luck!

It's funny that you mentioned your 100th post - I marked that milestone on my blog as well. However, post number 200 came and went unnoticed. I'm at something like 209 or 210 now - too late to celebrate, I'm afraid.

BTW: I posted some more long-exposure shots on Overflow

You might not want to see my blog today, Bob-kat. I disparage cats. I don't know what came over me! LOL

I hope you recover soon from all this hard work and if you do get that good weather, maybe a photo taking expedition will help.

I'm looking forward to reading your 100th.

Just know that you and your essay are in the thoughts of a biker down in the southern US of A.

Your paper is going to be an impressive document, not to worry! Try not to agonize over it--I guarantee you it will be good. Also, when you finish with this one, you might try doing an article on spec: "A Project Manager Meets the Challenge" or "When It's Imperative to Implement Plan "B"." or something like that, for a local magazine or newsletter. Future employers will love that, and your profs will be impressed in the next course you sign up for.

Hi Bobkat.

I know you're super busy at the moment, but when you get a little time you need to pop over to my blog to read about the award you've been won!

Hope all the "book lernin'" is going well :)

Stopped by to say hello--and ask how you are doing on your essay:)

Ugh! What was I thinking???

I tagged you on my meme blog About ICL

I know you're really busy with school but maybe when you get this essay finished, which should be by now, right?, you will feel like doing something brain dead.

However it may not involve a computer, stupid church lady. Oh well, if you pass no probs.

Have a good weekend and try to get some rest and relaxation in!

I hope the essay turned out like you wanted it--you're right about deadlines being like buses, there's always another one coming, the key is not to be run over by the bus! Michele says hi.
