The Cog

My insurance saga goes on. I am too stressed and angry to write about it though. It seems that between them, the insurers and the motor company contracted by them to change my locks cannot get anything right. I'm swimming in treacle folks. I will certainly be making a formal complaint and I will be looking for other quotes when the policy needs to be renewed.

Anyway, I need to get on with my studies as I have soooo much to get done so I thought I would leave you with a car advert. It is called 'The Cog' and was made for Honda. No computer graphics are involved and it took 606 shots to get it just right and quite some time to set it up. I think it is very clever and considering what is going on in my world at the moment, I just love the irony of the last line of the ad!

Absolutely amazing! I was mesmerized watching it. I can only imagine how LONG it took to coordinate all of that. What a great ad...and I'm not fond of ad's.

Bobkat that is fantastic. I realy need to figure out how to add a video to my blog. Is it difficult?

Your sense of humor continues to peek its' head out from the mire you are currently slogging through :)

I love that! Rube Goldberg's type compositions have always fascinated me. The last line is very good - considering your recent experience with the insurance co.

Thanks for visiting my site. I tried to play michele's game yesterday from work, but something about the network freezes out Blogger comments. That will teach me to goof off on company time.

I'm glad you came by to remind me. That Honda commercial is amazing. I've been told there is one cut in it and you can see it if you look close enough.

My 10 year old & I were fascinated by the ad- It's odd how the ads in the US are so different from those in the UK. I hate it that you're having so much trouble with the insurance still, it should all sort out sooner or later. Hopefully sooner!
Here from Micheles.

That commercial has been a favorite of mine since the first time I saw it. The genius behind it is incredible to behold.

Thank you for finding it in you to have such spark in the midst of a life's challenge. I wouldn't be as focused as you.

Hey Bobkat in response to your comments about current movies, I definitely agree with your opinion on "Epic Movie"- what a loser of a film.

I don't remember seeing any trailers on "Norbit". But I can only imagine :)

Thanks for the info on how to post video. You're always very helpfull.

This is a cool commercial. I am on my fourth Honda and Nyssa has a Civic. Love Honda's and even if I had millions of dollars and could pay cash for a Mercedes or BMW or Jaguar or any other high priced car, I would still get a Honda. There.

Oh this is soooo great! There was that man named Rube Goldberg who did these sorts of things back in the 1930's and 1940's...Look him up and you'll see what I mean...Only they were not nearly as sophisticated as this....It is really amazingly wonderful...You all have the BEST Ads in the UK...!

I dearly hope you are able to rise above the terrible stress of all thatr continues to happen to you in this awful awful saga, dear B-K!
