Oh how funny are those gifts ideas? That towel holder is hilarious!!! Urgh!!!
Thanks for brightening up my evening...
I am going to look into that Banana phone holder...LOL.Now THAT is different...! Thanks B-K....Very very helpful!
I don't like that the Alpha Male is trying to SABATOGE you, one bit! Hmmmmmm. Wish there was something I could suggest to foil him...!
Michele doesn't like it either!
the banana phone is strangely appealing.
I find it sad that so many of us have experienced something similar to what you're going through now: everything's going well at work until an alpha male shows up and screws it up for everybody. Megalomania run rampant, in other words, and it happens way too often.
Doubtless you'll use your degree to ensure that never happens under your watch. And you'll give your subordinates awesome Christmas gifts in the process. I'd work with you in a heartbeat.
So would Michele, I'm sure.
The banana, definitely the banana! That is just too funny!
Oh what a shame Bob-kat! I have just bought my last present - a smart jacket type anorak for MTL with plenty of his obligatory pockets. To get him in the shop was a minor miracle. I'll put a spell on the nasty man shall I? Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you found it a good read. Michele says hi also
Except for that pushy Alpha male , this was such a great post to read! love your ideas, particularly the tea towel holder, lol!
Thanks for your kind words, Bob-kat, they are truly appreciated.
:)
I Googled that Banana so I could find it here in the states....They are ALL out of the Flip-type Cell phone style....LOL! This would have made a perfect "gift" for the White Elephant Game at New Years....!
Thanks for your comment, my dear B-K: I so agree with you about Central Park....I think it is such a Testement to New York City that this Fantastic piece of land remains as it has been for so very many years.....Frankly, I think it is what keeps the City Dwellers sane!
Ha! That tea towel holder is a hoot!
BTW, Michelle says hello :)
For some reasons, I just don't see myself talking to a banana, but I guess there's a market for it, right?
Sorry that you're having troubles at work. It's true that all too often the Alpha Male is the cause of the problem, but I had my share of troubles with my boss who was a megalomaniac and a WOMAN. Ugh. Don't even want to think about it.
Hope it all falls in place in your favour.
I WANT that towel holder!! I want one for me and for a few friends!!
LMAO! I love the cat thing..where do u find these things lmao..too funny.
I sure hope all goes well with your job project...let us know how it turnes out...we can all send horrid thought to that dork, alpha male..and possitive thoughts to u lol.
The banana phone is hilarious. I would use it in public just to get strange looks from people.
Michele sent me.
Bob-kat, thanks for the visit and I like your line about cargo and freight and shipping - all so true!!
Hello, Michele sent me.
Good luck on that essay you're writing. Going for the MBA? You go!
I think every workplace has a personality type A or "Alpha" person. I hope everything works out.
I just got notice that the last Christmas item I ordered is shipped! Yes! Didn't want a sad face on Christmas morning becauseit didn't come in yet.
I'm sure my clients would be impressed, if I whipped out the banana cell phone to make an important call.
Unique and whacky gifting ideas!Hope the alpha male eases up with the Yuletide soirit surrounding him!
That Westie knows how to have fun!
BTW, Michele sent me here.
The towel holder makes you not want to use it for your washcloth, doesn't it? Reminds me of those clocks that were popular in the 50s. Here again from Michele's!
