Lost for words

I am at a bit of a loss as to what to post about. I am very busy at work right now and tired when I get home. When I stop it's like my mind goes blank. I also seem to be getting nothing done. The faster I peddle the more I stay still. Chores are piling up and I have an essay to research and write. Motivation is lacking however.

So...I thought I would share this photo with you. I took it while I was in Vienna. I saw a few of these lovely colourful stalls selling 'Blumen' while I was there. Each one was like finding natures palette in the middle of a bustling urban scene.

When you can't find the words, say it with flowers.

Oh, I agree. You can say just about anything with flowers. Photos like this always perk one up.
Hope your day is a peaceful one. :)

Great photo. ...I know what a funk* is..been ther myself like most...Seems like every step taken forward makes u go 2 steps back sometimes...then the monotony of the things we need to do, have us on autopilote...I think sometimes our bodies do this to regenerate the batteries somehow...then we snap out of it and start to feel better....Hope your snap comes soon lol...ok that just sounded wrong didn't it? ....U know what I mean lol.

Lovely flowers, Bob-kat!!!

Around here, though, they are nothing more than expensive cat food.

Something is lost when we no longer find pleasure in fresh flowers or make the effort to dress our days up with them. Thanks for the photo.

Cheers.

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes life just piles it on you, and you want to just sit and do nothing.

I hope you get a break soon.

I always post photos on my "other" blog when I'm at a loss for words there too. I usually end up posting photos on there at least twice a week.

The photo is lovely. It looks as if the owner set the flowers out strategically to mix them up. It makes for a great photo.

Hey, it sounds just like me. More you get done, more it piles up. Nothing seems to be moving.

Thanks for sharing those flowers. Very vivid and colourful.

Michele sent me here to stop and admire!

What a lovely picture! I have a recurring dream where I come upon a flower market in the snow, it's always just about dark, and the soft, glowing light seems to come from the flowers themselves.

Hi Bobkat, thanks for coming by for a visit. I've left you a reply to your comment, but thought I'd come over have a peek. I love the photo, and it's interesting when you say you have no motivation, etc because when I'm feeling out of sorts, one of my greatest pleasures is going to the market and looking at all the flowers on display. Cheers me up instantly!

Thanks for coming by Bob-Kat and for your kind dear words, too.

Looking at these flowers again is such a treat.....The colors are swcrumptious and so rich and varied.....I wish I had a little Flower Kiosk or something like it right here on my street....Wouldn't that be wonderful? Hope you are getting some time for relaxation and fun....We all need a bit of fun for balance and to remind us that there is more to life than work, work, work....unless, one's work is one's "play"....

Beautiful :)

I feel a bit like that lately (apart from my trip away which did the world of good). When you're so busy with work etc, it's difficult to write in the evening I find.

I hear you about being at a loss for words! And you have had a very busy year, but despite that, have always had time to post interesting items about your travels, and of course, your beautiful pictures of historical sites near you. I'm going to let you in on a secret of sorts: because ofd your blog, I have this idea in my head to head over to the UK on my next trip to visit some of those beautiful castles! Greg is all for it too, although I am sure he is more interested in discovering the pubs.
