Crazy cats!

It appears that at some point in my existence I have been very very very bad indeed. I am sooo busy! Work is very hectic at the moment where I feel I am simultaneously herding cats, juggling soot and pushing jelly (jello) up a hill with a pointy stick! So much to do, so few hands, too few hours in the day! Despite the apparent lack of hours the days have been long which of course has compressed time to do other things...

At home, the house point blank refuses to stay tidy and clean itself, the grass has the temerity to keep on growing and I have the most boring essay in the world to finish for my course which I am having a bit of trouble with. So, I must have been very bad at some point as we all know there is no rest for the wicked! LOL!

The upshot is that I have got stuff to share with you but no time to do it justice. I have loads of pics from the airshow still to show you and some from a re-enactment I went to a while ago too. But for now I am going to go and start on my long list of things to do and write my essay so I am leaving you with the video below. Anyone who owns a cat knows that they can be loving, sweet and funny. I have a cat called Bob and my cat has done some crazy things in the 16 years I have had him, (but thankfully he hasn't done anything as silly as some of these cats). Enjoy! :)

Hi, hope the busyness settles down soon. I hate to think our long our grass will grow while we are away, I bet my children (who are not really children any more) won't mow the lawns for me. September is when it really starts growing again around here. Michele sent me back again.

WHat a funny set of clips! I have just spent the last 10 mins or so laughing and passing the you tube link onto my friends.
I know what you mean a bout being busy..... I thought summer was supposed to be relaxing but that does not seem to have been happening so far.

I know that herding cats feeling. Thanks for your persistence with commenting over the last few days.

You'll gather I've been out and about and not had much time for the TLC (Tender Loving Care) of rashbre central.

I did discover a linkette that seems to have been broken and temporarily patched it now to make everything work again.

Glad to see you have water again. Some good friends of mine lives in Bishop's Cleve - which I think must be out your way and they have sent me a link to a stack of photos on the BBC website of the area in the floods. Steph parked her car about 2 miles from home on higher ground during the worst of the floods.

Over in Sweden, there was not much mention of the floods - so it was difficult (sans internet) to know what was happening.

A rich life is a busy life. I saw a lot of myself in your words today in that I wish I had more time than I do. The backlog/wish list continues to grow as I focus on things that keep the lights on and our tummies full.

Sometimes, I wish we could just slow down. I'd love to live in a lakeside cottage. Maybe soon...

I know how you feel bob-kat ; this week is housework because my son and family come next week. Ludicrous really as they couldn't care less about the state of the house!
Watched the video it is amazing - my favourites are with the bear and with the dog. The ones with the toddlers are worrying somewhat.
Michele says hi! Have a good week.

Silly, silly cats. We dogs are much more sophisticated. We would never do anything as silly as those cats. You are believing this, aren't you? :-)
