Bad Bobkat!

The title refers to me of course but has a dual meaning. I have, of course been quite remiss lately. I haven't been blogging much and have failed to visit my lovely blog friends. It goes without saying that it is my loss. I am often in awe at the way someones blog can make me smile on a bad day or inspire me or just make me think. I miss these connections and yet there is always something demanding my time at the moment.

I have also been ill for a while. Anyone that knows me on Facebook will have seen some status updates hinting at various ailments but the truth is that I am run down. My immune system just seems to have lost the will to fight and lets every horrid little bug doing the rounds set up home. I am currently suffering from another chest infection, I have also had a cold that lasted and lasted and been generally run down which prompted blood tests. If this wasn't fun enough, had a migraine that lasted a whole week. That was not fun. I have also been pulling long days at the office which haven't helped but that work ain't gonna do it itself!

So, I am bad. Remiss for neglecting my blog friends, who despite evidence to the contrary, I value greatly and poorly sick bad. It's getting me down.

On a more positive note I am working (when I can summon the energy and the time) on a personal photographic project which I hope to share here soon(ish) and I have also been asked to photograph a wedding and do a dog portrait. Nothing is ever all bad eh? : )

Hang in there :-)

I suspect a lot of us are looking forward to a big rest over Easter, me included. Just seems to be dragging a bit as it comes closer.

I'm sorry you haven't been well. Are you getting enough vitamin D? D3 is best.

Don't mind us. We check in and it's good to see you're still about. Take care of yourself first. The blogging business can wait.

I do miss your posts. Facebook seems to command a lot of my attention, and my blog is a bit neglected too. I have been trying to get better about posting at least once a week.

If you'll have me as a friend, I would love to add you on FB - Linda Ouellet MacDonald is how you'll find me.

I've been remiss in writing, reading, & commenting lately, too. Just part of the ebb & flow of life, is how i see it.

Hope you feel better soon. Vitamin D3 might help boost your immune system. Here in the states they are finding almost everyone is deficient. Many in conventional medicine would tell you that Vitamin D is toxic at certain levels, but that is mostly propaganda.

Vitamin D2 is much more likely to be toxic than D3 ever would be.

ANYWAY - i hope you feel better soon. :)

I love this picture... I have a cat that really is like this... he is bad and needs to hide. He scoots out the door faster than you can blink and is terribly hard to catch. He needs to be in a bag... or time out... for a very long time.

Sorry to hear you have been sick. I have managed to avoid all the sniffles and snuffles and flu around this year... (knock on wood). But my daughter had the H1N1 and my aging parents both had extended bouts of something similar, though they had both the flu shots. Hope you are feeling better soon... some sun and warmer weather should help.

So glad to see you posted...I think I must have come by the day before and kind of gave up....But, I just thought that maybe tonight I will find a bit of news...And, I DID!!!!
It seems like Facebook has taken many people away from blogging....And I know you have been having Health Problems and I am so sorry to read about this...But, NOT being on Facebook there was no way to know what was going on with you, my dear.
Will you have any time off sometime soon? I hope so.
Hugs To You You & Your Kitty's from Sweetie and Me.

I'm sorry to hear you've been unwell again. I've had a migraine over the past couple of days and its combined with tinitus at the moment... not a great feeling!

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon :) Take care.

So glad you came by and saw the "tile" house....! The man who did all this is about 82 now, and it is my understanding he is STILL doing it---including the whole inside of his house, too....He has lived in the house for almost 50 years!!
What an "artist"....!
Hope you are feeling a little bit better, my dear....Take Good Care!
