Dominoes

I am still as busy as before, in fact even more so now as I spent most of the weekend feeling very poorly and so didn't achieve as much as I needed to. All this means very little time left for fun stuff like blogging and I am in danger of becoming dull I think due to this work/play imbalance.

So, just a minute post from me then: It's a bit like minute steak, it doesn't take long to do. The clip below is of another advert that is currently running here in the UK that I think is very clever (though I prefer the bunnies in the post below). It is apparently the most expensive Guinness advert made to date and was directed by Nicolai Fuglsig of the Sony Bravia 'Balls' fame. The advert was shot on location in a remote side village called Iruya, in the Salta region of northern Argentina, with a population of around 1,000 people and is a celebration of community spirit set around a huge scale domino toppling project which included toppling: 6,000 dominoes, 10,000 books, 400 tyres, 75 mirrors, 50 fridges, 45 wardrobes and 6 cars.

Enjoy and I will hopefully find a moment to visit each of you soon.

I have always loved the "domino" effect thingy...this is so very clever and inventive! I enjoyed it very very much!

Thanks sooooo very much for taking the time to come by and visit, especially given how terribly busy you are, AND, that you didn't feel well, too...
It was a very exciting and special time...And for our little show to end up on Broadway---The Pinacle---Well, we were all terribly terribly excited. And because it started in this little 40 seat workshop, we were all very very close, before we ever got to New York...So, the "Phanton Sign Painters" was an outgrowth of that....As Betty said on the tape...Broadway was up in arms are our Homemade Signs---(NO ONE KNEW WHO DID THIS, By the way) We came down to Shubert Alley at 3 or 4 in the morning...) Those spaces in Shurbert Alley cost a FORTUNE...!LOL! Of course they got painted out right away---BUT, we came back, with smaller ones....They finally gave up painting them out....! "Comraderie" is the perfect word for what we had and what we felt, and that still exists today....!

This video is GREAT! There's "something" about domino's that I find exciting. And this one was done extremely creatively.
