Can be just as stressful. I'd be happy to share some of your work. In the meantime, even a 10 minutes break can really take a load off stress. You may think you don't have time, but if you try it, you'll find that you'll have much more energy.Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14516430231166939629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26776821.post-26308269072750149952008-10-02T18:59:00.000+00:002008-10-02T18:59:00.000+00:00I feel your pain darling. My job entails one deadline after another and there are ALWAYS last minute changes and it ALWAYS drove me nuts to have to accommodate those even if I knew they were bound to pop up. But then... of course I didn't know I was on the verge of a burnout then...

About putting off things till tomorrow, I say give yourself a break. Blogging shouldn't be an obligation the way work is—but getting some much needed rest after a hard day's work should definitely be your priority. It's always a bonus when you leave a comment but I definitely don't hold it against you when you don't!

Be well and rest easy.Smilerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04888076998373335876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26776821.post-34186244467943478332008-10-01T08:26:00.000+00:002008-10-01T08:26:00.000+00:00I am exhausted just reading about ALL that you are...I am exhausted just reading about ALL that you are contending with, my dear...! I was so overwhelmed!! and exhausted and cranky.

Then an older and wiser friend reminded me that I was missing out on all the fun of a new job, new tasks, new challenges and I was ruining the pride I should be taking in myself.

She had a point and switching my reactions around a bit made me feel more resilient.

We'll be here! Me lazy :-)

I guess the only constant we have at the moment is change - especially with the various "transformation" things going round at the moment. The metaphorical "They" say that change is the only way to go forward but sometimes, it would be good to take a breath, take stock and figure out the best route for the next change. Constant change doesn't really allow that.

I have a work-change coming very soon too, hopefully it will mean more techie content for the job :-)Sleepypetehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11143274290029186546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26776821.post-63265675798964488652008-09-28T21:40:00.000+00:002008-09-28T21:40:00.000+00:00Don't apologize; we miss you, but we'll be here wh...Don't apologize; we miss you, but we'll be here when you have time.kenjuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342414519714356343noreply@blogger.com
